Clothing is the tenth (assuming left to right) skill in the Dutch language tree. In these three lessons, the Dutch student learns how to describe what he or she is wearing in Dutch.


Lesson 1Edit

  • dragen = to wear (draag,draagt,dragen)
  • de schoen = shoe
  • de jurk = dress
  • het jas = jacket, coat
  • de broek = (one pair of) pants

Lesson 2Edit

  • de sok = sock
  • de trui = sweater
  • de rok = skirt
  • de hoed = hat
  • de kleren = clothing, clothes

Lesson 3Edit

  • het hemd = shirt
  • de klomp = clog
  • het pak = suit
  • de bril = glasses
  • de tas = bag
  • het ondergoed = underwear
