Adjectives: Predicative is the tenth (assuming left to right) skill in the German language tree. Inside the skill are three lessons. The skill teaches some early adjectives in the predicative form.

Predicative adjectivesEdit

Predicative adjectives, which are not found in front of a noun, are never inflected.

Example: Der Apfel ist alt.

The inflection of adjectives found in front of nouns is taught in a later skill.

  • schlecht = bad
  • frei = free
  • normal = normal
  • toll = great
  • leicht = light, simple

  • laut = loud
  • leise = unfortunate
  • lang = long
  • schwach = weak

  • klein = small
  • rund = round
  • groß = big
  • ruhig = quiet
