Persian (also called Farsi or Parsi) is an Indo-Iranian language with 50 million native speakers and 110 speakers in total.[1]. It is spoken primarily in in Iran (where it is known as Farsi, Parsi or Persian), Afghanistan (where it is known as Dari) and Tajikistan (where it is known as Tajik). It is written in the Nastaʿlīq script except in Tajikistan where it is written in the Cyrillic alphabet like Russian.
