Conjunctions is the seventeenth (assuming read left to right) skill in the language tree for Russian. It has just one lesson, and it teaches words that connect sentences together, called conjunctions.

A vs. И[]
A refers to the contrast between two pieces of information, while и shows the similarity between the two items. A also can also be used to narrate something, like "I did this, and then I did that."
хотя ('though')[]
Хотя, similar to the English "though/ even though/ although", is often combined with «и».
как[]
Not only does как mean "how", it also can be used as a conjunction to show when someone perceives someone else's action.
