Verbs: Future Perfect is the fifty-fourth skill (assuming read left to right) in the Spanish language tree. It has two lessons and teaches another verb tense that uses the future tense of haber to describe actions that will be done at a later time.

Grammar notes[]

English has the future perfect tense as well, and it has similarities to the Spanish equivalent:

  • Will + Have + Past Participle

In Spanish, we can use the verb haber in the future tense (from earlier in the tree) to cover the first two:

  • haber (futuro simple) + Past Participle

Since haber has an irregular stem in the future simple tense, here's a handy chart for the six different pronouns:

Pronoun Haber Futuro simple
yo habré
habrás
él, ella, usted habrá
nosotros/nosotras habremos
vosotros/vosotras habréis
ellos, ellas, ustedes habrán
