Money is the thirty-ninth (assuming read left to right) skill in the language tree for Welsh. In the skill there are four lessons. This skill teaches words for money, various commodities, and feminine numerals.

Grammar NotesEdit

When dealing with the numerals in this unit, notice that sometimes a different set of numerals is used:

  • dau tocyn - dwy bunt
  • tri ci - tair ceiniog
  • pedwar gath - pedair punt

These are the feminine numerals. Keep these in mind when dealing with numerals and feminine nouns.

  • pedwar deg pump = forty-five
  • saith deg pump = seventy-five
  • wyth deg saith = eighty-seven
  • pedwar deg tri = forty-three
